DCC Concepts Cobalt Turnout/Point motor is a motor drive stall type device. because of its very high quality gearing it will not relax at the end of each throw so it can be controlled by conventional switches, momentary or normally off switches as well as working with timed-power tpye DCC accessory decoders if you prefer.

Cobalt requires DC power to operate and never draws more than 30mA (milliAmps). Cobalt is happy with any voltage between 6 and 14 Volts in either stall or short term power mode (9V to 12V DC  is an ideal choice)
