This is a kit of a Drewry 0-6-0 diesel shunting loco. These locos seen to be of the class known as 04 in British Railway terminology. They were supplied by the Drewry company who only subcontracted thier work most of the time as for most of their existance they didn't have any manufacturing capability.

These small diesel shunters could be found all over the UK where the larger class 08/9 shunters were too heavy for access. Notibly access to docks and private yards.
