C015 level crossing kit

This is a kit to make up a Level crossing. This is where a raod may cross over a railway line on the level without having to go up an incline and raise itself over the railway. There are many types of Level crossing and the kit represents a typical gated crossing found on many lines all over the country. Some still survive today. although the gates may well have been replaced by barriers although not all.

This kit is quite versatile and you can combine 2 kits to make a double track level crossing. This was the very first kit I tried to make into a double track crossing. I was a young teenager. It was an easy kit to build.
